We will also need to establish the type of glass that will need to be cut into before our Alexandra Palace glaziers can begin work on the installation.

This will depend on a few factors. Mainly the type of glass that you have in your frames. If the glass is standard float glass, our glaziers will often be able to cut on-site. Toughened, laminated or double glazed will need new glass with the hole pre-cut due to the functions of these types of glass.
Yes, many of these panels can be cut into and the cat flap installed the same day. Our glaziers can often cut, install or refit without the need for further visits. Please see above question for cases where we cannot.
We can still fit a cat flap into your double glazed unit. Although brand new glass will be needed, as we will need our manufacturer to make the glass from the measurements we take on the visit, cutting the hole in both pieces of the glass and vacuum sealing the unit. We can then install the new glass for your frames.
